Hawthorne Glenn, Phase II - Fairhope, Alabama

The development site is located on approximately twenty-eight (28) acres of land contiguous to Hawthorne Glenn, Phase I, fronting on Morphy Avenue to the North, and Nichols Avenue to the South, approximately 1/8th of a mile east of U. S. Highway 98 (also known as Greeno Road) in Fairhope, Alabama.

Hawthorne Glenn, Phase I, was developed in the early 1990's. The first phase of the development contained twenty-one (21) lots of approximately twelve-thousand (12,000) square feet each, and sixteen (16) lots of approximately eight-thousand seven-hundred (8,700) square feet each. Thirty-one (31) of the Phase I lots currently have single-family residences built upon them.

The streets have an average right-of-way width of sixty (60') feet. The streets, upon completion, and acceptance of the final plat by the Planning Commission and the City Council of the City of Fairhope, Alabama, were conveyed to the City of Fairhope and are maintained by them.

Hawthorne Glenn, Phase II, will include seventy-two (72) new residential lots, each having an approximate size of between nine-thousand (9,000) square feet to twelve-thousand (12,000) square feet, depending on width and depth. The streets to be constructed will have right-of-way widths which will vary from forty (40') feet to fifty (50') feet. Construction of the streets is expected to be complete by the Spring of 2006.
